This has been a fun one for me. Super cute and fun couple to work with, and I brought out my new (toy) lens – a Meyer Optik Primoplan 58mm f/1.9 soap bubble lens. Yes that’s the one lens that we all had to wait like 2 years on kickstarter to get. It’s definitely not easy to use AT ALL even thou I’m very confident in my abilities to manual focus because at 1.9 the focal plane is razor thin, and chances are you will not land it perfectly at that aperture. But it does create a very soapy dreamy look around your subject and gives a very romantic look to the images. It definitely isn’t a lens to replace my trust 50mm but with it’s small footprint I can stick it in any bag and pull it out to play with anytime. More to come later about that fun lens!
