Adobe Lightroom 2.3 has gone live!!! Besides the seemingly ordinary Nikon D3X and the Olympus E-30 support that probably doesn’t benefit you and I, there are several bug fixes including that multiple undo bug that wasted many of my precious time, and also it seems to have the memory leak under control this time. I tested the PC version thus far and it’s performing MUCH FASTER than it used to be, somewhere nearly as fast as it really should be on my system. Upon my very brief testing, the notorious complaints about Lightroom is still present – interface is still slow, switching from grid mode to develop module still takes time, localized adjustments still painfully slow… but, at least now it is much more usable than it was at 2.2!
