Engagement: Araceli & Jorge in Downtown LA

2011 has been the busiest year for us by far.  Before I know it we’re already way past the projects we took upon last year.  Fortunately we have been steadily building our team and we’re able to continue to keep up with the demand.  That being said, we anticipate our schedule to be completely full and so we have decided that we’re going to close out the rest of 2011 and commit to what we have on hand and focus on the upcoming 2012 year.

We’re wrapping up the last of the flurry of e-sessions in LA this time of the year and transitioning into shooting wedding(s) every weekend.  I really wanted to share this one with you guys because personally I think our new engagement session approach is working out very well especially with Araceli and Jorge.  We knew that they love the looks of the Los Angeles downtown area, but we headed out while we’re still trying to find a good spot to shoot until we learned their fondness of nightlife.  So we ended up hitting up one of their favorite bars which turned out to be a beautiful spot to photograph.  The more I hang out with them the more we find a way to connect to their personalities – and we ended up heading to Little Tokyo for sushi, yogurt (and convinced Jorge who thought Pinkberry tastes like rotten milk to his new found love towards caramel yogurt).  In the end, we came back with a set of pictures unique to them with a connection to this awesome breathing city.
