Engagement – JC & Nick: Viceroy Hotel, Santa Monica

A bride-to-be said to me that I must have been very busy lately during a consultation session.  I curiously asked why, not knowing how she figured that out before even meeting with me.  She told me that she figured that out from how often I blog, and judging from how much I continue to fall behind on blogging it’s really not that hard to figure out.  I laughed and realize I better catch up with this before wedding season goes into full swing starting this weekend where I won’t get a free weekend until July!

This is a session I took a little while ago when it was still cold.  I really miss the weather back then ’cause it’s been getting really hot in SoCal lately, and on top of that the wind has been blowing up all the allergens and I need my daily dose of Claritin to function.  We started that day very early at the Griffith Observatory before everybody else got there.  It’s such a treat to be working with JC and Nick – they’re super easy to work with, and they’re an amazingly adorable couple.  We then drove off to the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, a beautiful location which I think fits them perfectly.

and so this wraps up a great day of “work” with many laughters.  It is unbelievable that I could call this work sometimes ’cause the way I get to be a part of the lives of amazing people like JC and Nick is a privilege.  Next week: Their wedding pictures! =)
